I added this quote "the 500 Festival Parade in Indianapolis, the United States Presidential Inaugural Parade," because our family business was building parade floats and I had been involved in both many times.
In the past I have encouraged my students to use only use subscription encyclopedia resources such as Worldbook or Groliers. Now that I have actually edited a page, I will encourage them to become an expert on something so they may add to or edit existing posts about things they are knowledgeable about. During our research process assignment, I will continue to endorse either a print or online source that has been written by professional fact-checkers.Cheryl's Tech Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16112225404630654725noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6964717909627119335.post-38684647105527969622011-12-28T08:41:00.000-08:002011-12-28T08:47:20.078-08:00Challenge Four - Sharing Creative CommonsThis shouldn't have been a hard project as all the pieces are fairly straight forward. Unfortunately before I could use Animoto I had to upgrade my flash player, download Firefox, allow cookies and clear a cookie cache. Using photos from Creative Commons I retrieved library images that are not super clear. Last year as part of a professional development training at my school, I was able to create something similar using iphoto and imovie with better results. Here are the fruits of my labor:
Try our slideshow creator at Animoto.
Cheryl's Tech Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16112225404630654725noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6964717909627119335.post-11858043149154703492011-12-28T08:39:00.000-08:002011-12-28T08:46:49.531-08:00Libraries Bring LifeI checked the embedded link on the previous post and it was not able to be viewed.
